Record-Breaking Success at the 2024 National Women's Retreat

National Women's Retreat Ends Successfully on a High Note

The 2024 National Women's Retreat concluded with resounding success, drawing a record crowd of over 7,000 women from across Papua New Guinea (PNG). This significant event also welcomed women representatives from neighboring countries, including West Papua-Indonesia, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, and the Philippines. Many attendees shared tearful testimonies, expressing their overwhelming joy and commitment to spreading the inspiration they received. It was a deeply emotional moment, giving glory to God for the great things He has done.

Mrs. Kinza Ninjipa and Mrs. Helen Noae served as the host preachers, delivering powerful sermons that enriched many lives. The palpable presence of God was felt from the beginning to the end of the retreat.

The Jiwaka District Pastors and congregation worked tirelessly to ensure the event's success. Banz town came to a standstill as truckloads of women from the 24 districts arrived to commence the retreat.

Among the notable attendees was the Member for North Waghi, Mr. Benjamin Mul, who attended the opening night service. He warmly welcomed the women to his electorate and challenged them to lead lives that would positively impact others. He also expressed his gratitude to the PNG Bible Institute (PNGBI) for the spiritual foundation it provided him during his school days, which significantly changed his life's direction.

The 2025 National Women's Retreat is scheduled to be held in Kamaga District, Western Highlands Province.
