Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks the Launch of the New Tabernacle Project in Pabarabuk Station

The official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Tabernacle project took place today at Pabarabuk Station, the national headquarters of the PNG Bible Church Inc. The event was presided over by Rev. James Plank, representing the Inter-Church Holiness Convention (IHC), and Rev. Wane Ninjipa, Chairman of the PNG Bible Church. Together, they symbolically cut the ribbon, marking the commencement of construction, which aims to extend the old Tabernacle to meet the increasing demands of the population.

This collaborative effort with the Inter-Church Holiness Movement signifies a significant step forward, demonstrating our commitment to preserving and upholding the legacy of holiness passed down by our leaders. It was a privilege to host preachers from the United States (US) who came to deliver sermons during the 2024 National Holiness Camp. Rev. James Plank, accompanied by his son, Jamison, and Rev. Andrew Stroud, delivered a series of powerful sermons that profoundly impacted the lives of many attendees. The Holiness Camp is scheduled to conclude on Sunday.

In addition to the ceremonial aspects, former missionary Brother Dean Rose shared a brief history of the transformative work undertaken by missionaries in this nation. Nearly two hundred missionaries dedicated their efforts to New Guinea, and their labor bore abundant fruit. Brother Dean's remarks resonated deeply with the audience, and Rev. Wane, on behalf of the PNG Bible Church, expressed gratitude and appreciation for their tireless commitment. "God will surely reward you all for your unwavering dedication, and we are the living testament to the fruits of your labor in answering God's call," remarked Rev. Wane.

The groundbreaking and commissioning service concluded with a sense of achievement and anticipation for the project's future impact.
