CONDOLENCE MESSAGE - BROCK FAMILY

We, at Papua New Guinea Bible Church Inc., including our National Church Leaders, their families, and the multitude of pastors nurtured under the guidance of Reverend Robert Brock, express our profound condolences. The congregations, born from the Pidgin Bible School, and the communities of Tambul Valley and Pulupatu, vividly recall the Brocks' pioneering spirit. They braved the most challenging conditions—lacking modern conveniences such as roads, electricity, running water, and standard housing—yet they persevered without a word of complaint, embodying the mission's ethos of selfless dedication.

Reverend Brock, recognizing a divine calling, established the Pidgin Bible School at Tambul Mission Station. This visionary endeavor was pivotal in spreading the doctrine of holiness across Papua New Guinea, leading to the establishment of numerous churches under the PNG Bible Church Inc.

As the National Chairman, I honor Reverend Brock for his unwavering and impactful teachings, which have significantly contributed to our standing as a prominent conservative holiness movement in the developing world.

We also pay homage to his life partner, Barbara Brock, and their children—Julie Sproles, Janie Eisenhart, Robert Brock Jr., and Richard Brock—who embraced PNG as their homeland. Your sacrifices, though numerous, aided in disseminating the message of holiness and light amidst darkness. Your father's legacy, a beacon of holiness, has profoundly influenced countless lives here.

Your family's close-knit bond is evident, and Reverend Brock's absence will be deeply felt. We share in this loss, recognizing the void his departure leaves. Yet, we find solace in knowing he now resides in the glorious presence of Jesus Christ, whose teachings of holiness he so fervently embraced and propagated.

We extend our gratitude to Mrs. Barbara Brock for her missionary work in Pulupatu and her instrumental role in establishing the Tambul Bible School in 1982.

In this time of reflection, we remember Reverend Brock with immense respect and pray for his soul's eternal peace.

Sincerely,

Reverend Wane Ninjipa
National Chairman/General Superintendent
